Do you have good communication skills, written and verbal? Are you driven and have a passion to care for others? Are you a team player as well as being able to work on your own initiative? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are looking to recruit Weekend Community Support Workers on a part basis to work a variety of shifts between 7am – 10pm, to provide support to our customers within their own homes. You must be a kind and caring individual, with a passion for people.

The ideal candidates will need to be flexible and able to provide the support at the required times, which consist of mornings, lunchtimes, teatimes and evenings.

You may be an experienced support worker, have looked after a relative or a friend, or just want the opportunity to make a real difference to someone’s life.

We are holding interviews now!

New Directions offer a full, remote induction training programme with one day COVID safe in house practical training, along with the opportunity to gain a fully funded NVQ in Health and Social Care with a paid bonus on completion.

You will be supporting our customers to live an independent life, go out and take part in activities, access employment and educational opportunities, meet new people and make relationships. Some of the people we support need help with cooking, cleaning and shopping too, which you will need to help them with. Some also require support to wash and dress, use equipment to move about and take their medicines.

What we offer:

  • £9.50 an hour
  • Variable hour contract
  • Paid training
  • Local and permanent work
  • Opportunity to obtain nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Free Criminal Record Check
  • 28 days paid holidays (pro rata)
  • Refer a friend bonus

New Directions provides specialist support to people within their own homes. Our dedicated team has been providing quality care and support in Enfield and Camden for over 20 years.

New Directions is an Equal Opportunities employer.

You will need proof of your right to work and reside in the UK.
